Pet books others, character recognition

I have 2 large boxes of old pet books and other greenleaf books (with critters) that I am willing to share, but I need a character recognition program I can mix with my scanner so I don’t have to type everything. Any ideas? I also have a catolog of all their books up to about the year 1984. So I can provide author names for many of the unknowns. PS. I promise to ammend anything not permitted here.Love and brush your critter every day.

    3. If these are the Pet Books I am thinking of.. I would suggest strongly that you have read each story thoroughly before posting it… Please read the rules and make sure these stories follow them.. I would hate to have you get in trouble for being generous and sharing….I have run across MANY of those stories on in this thread.. and have found most times they contain references that we do not allow on this forum… (ie … in est ….. underage…etc ….)If these arent those stories .. then ignore this post This post has been edited by wyldfyre67 on Nov 30 2005, 06:41 PM

    5. I’ve been searching for these books for ages I remember when they first came out and I was in my adult book store every month buying up the newest titles. Oh Boy What I’d give to have kept them all, too They were enjoyable to read and remarkable in that they sold so well. If you’re able to get the software you’re looking for I would love to have copies sent to me as well. Thanks,JJ

    6. I’d certainly like to see any of those that are allowable on the forum. However, if you would have to censor any or change anything (ages, for instance) for them to be acceptable, I, for one, would prefer to do without. Certainly posting your list should be all right. I’ve been working on a list of the books on my own, but it’s been piecemeal, a bit at a time. Should would like to fill in the missing parts to have a decent checklist.

    8. Since there has been no response on this for a week, I’m assuming that either Gutterp is under the weather like I’ve been or he’s been hit by a truck. (If the latter, my condolances to any family or friends.) But since the topic has come up, and no objections (other than the usual cautions) have been raised, I am going to put up my own checklist in the next day or so, as soon as I finish some last minute notations.

    9. Yeah. I had to sell off my collection when I moved a few years ago, but sure wish I had ‘em back. I guess there’s always usenet for the ones with the thoughtcrime topics.
